Interestingly, the woman in the saree was none other than Geeta, the wife of CM Revant Reddy. Yes, Geeta, the niece of senior Congress leader Jayapal Reddy.
Reddy’s political journey has been quite intriguing. He graduated in Fine Arts from Osmania University and commenced his career in printing press. Marrying Geeta wasn’t easy. Geeta’s family wasn’t agreeable initially due to Reddy’s career in politics. However, they eventually consented, and the union took place in 1992. Subsequently, Reddy stepped into politics.

During today’s swearing-in ceremony, as Reddy introduced his wife to Sonia, Rahul, and Priyanka, he also presented his daughter and son-in-law. Rahul also showered affection on their grandchild.
